Well, my perspective has had a major change since i got here. A Major culture shock took place when i got here. a lot of things went through my head when i had my first days here. Now that i have been here for a 2 weeks i feel that i am doing so much better.
We only have a couple investigators. There are not a lot of people that are interested in accepting the message as an investigator does, its more of the listening and criticizing what doctrines we teach. Jamaica has more churches per capita in the entire world. The ones who take the time to listen and apply what we have taught them are some of the strongest testimony holders in the Area.
I am serving in Linstead and have now found a sort of joy in what i am doing, i am still scared, but i know that i can get over that fear.
Yeah, Jamaica is not anything like it shows in cool running's, in fact most of that movie was filmed in Barbados's. Culture is the thing that scared me most. But i am doing a whole lot better.
