Its going pretty awesome!!
Last week we went to the natural bridge in Riversdale, kinda like hiking timpinogas but a lot more warm, today we played soccer with the spanishtown elders. Normally we just sit at the church and watch lds media channels.
Church seems to be jsut a little different but not very jsut the way they do somethings like passing and blessing the sacrament, other that that everything is pretty much the same. This week it was mostly chicken, tried my first pattie though, kinda like a baked taco with just meat. not my favorite but it was good.
I don't think i can call it slang, they speak a language called patwa, at least thats i think they spell it. i can pick up a little here and there, its just smashed english. other than that they have the accent and speak english pretty well.
Its just me and elder roberts that are in the apartment. its pretty big, i will have to send pics next time.
