So this week was a little hectic, but on the other hand, a very usual one. Just running around trying to get people excited for conference and such. Really wanted to get our investigators there so they could here the words of our Heavenly Fathers servants.
Really, if you think about it that is a time that where all the members of the church become "one". As we gather together we come to the same understanding of what it is we can do in our lives that will help us as communities, nations, and countries, become more unified in doing righteous and good things, rather than twist to the unruly traditions and newly forming events that the world is calling "ok". All the Apostles stated very clearly how we need to become one with God, and not with the estranged rules of the world, that seems to continually be getting worse. But we also must realize, that as the bad gets worse, the good gets better.
In 1 Corinthians 13:10 we read, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way for you to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" Some key words are....."God is faithful" we must realize that our Heavenly father trust us to make the right decision. And that is why we must truly think as me make those decisions that face us as we attack everyday life. The trust you put in someone is the trust they will put in you. Always trust the maker of your being. He knows you better that you know yourself. Don't doubt your faith before you doubt the doubt. Probably the most profound statement made at conference this year.
