Well it is just as they said. Beautiful. This week i was lucky enough to get here so early. We had a very good week this week. Finding three new investigators that all came from a former one that is also picking back up her want to really know the truth. We have really been focusing on member present lessons and trying to find the most effective members to take teaching with us for the most effective lessons. It has been a real blast here in only a weeks time. We have had so much fun.
Elder Christensen (my new companion) and i are literally like family and we are getting along just great. I have never felt such a good transition with a new companion and it has been very smooth in the teaching process. Elder Christensen is a very good teacher. He has already taught me so much especially about how powerful the book of Mormon is. We have been able to have very good lessons and really see the change in most of our investigators. It is filled with different cultures from Brazil to the Dominica and Haiti. Tell Vanessa i will come back speaking creole.
I have been also trying to pick up spanish, i have been asked to study
both languages for something but i have not been told exactly why yet, i was told for an assignment i will have soon but who knows.
This week Week during my studies i found something that has had a great effect on my mission with out me even knowing it.
Alma 3:27 "For every man recieveth wages of him whom he listeth to
obey........."
As i continued reading i found that nothing is brought about to us with out a choice and that those little angels and devils on our shoulders are real. If we listen to one we will make the choice to
either follow or resist. WE should all take careful thought of all the actions we take. They are the things that will be brought before us in the end and then we will have to face them if we don't repent.
